MOVIE NIGHT 4/30/08 - A great time was had by all!
The “Dinner and a Movie” event continues to grow after another successful event last Wednesday, April 30th. Five NYC Alumni met for a relaxed dinner at Kelly & Ping’s in Soho. We enjoyed some excellent Thai food and refreshing Ginger-Mint martinis (the bartender’s choice, of course). Dinner was followed by a screening of “My Blueberry Nights” at the Angelika where our group grew to about eight people. Although the group had ambivalent feelings about the movie, we are looking forward to many more movies to come!
Stayed tuned for more “Dinner and a Movie” events to come this summer, including free movies in the park! If you have any suggestions for dinner venues or movies, please e-mail Lacey Anderson at

I had a fabulous time meeting new people and seeing old friends. Although I had a love-hate relationship with the movie, the company more than made up for it. The movie, upon reflection, actually did quite a good job at depicting human misery. Maybe that’s why we didn’t love it - but it sure did make me feel good about my life!
Looking forward to next time,
Judi
